Ed was just about to ask what Winry wanted to say,the braided hair blonde looked towards the door of the shop to see none other then Al,a frown crept over his face wondering where the heck the tin can had been hiding all this time,he better not have been rounding up kittens.
"Oh Alphonse come here a minute huh,WHERE THE HECK HAVE YOU BEEN.....while i've been chatting away with Winry,you've probably been out helping kittens again haven't you,geez Al it's suppose to be my responsibility to look after you".

Winry sighed in defeat as Al walked in. She inwardly groaned at his bad timing...And she was going to finally come out and tell him, too...Forcing a smile onto her face, which clashed with the look of disappointment that still lingered there, she waved to him, "Hey Alphonse," she greeted weakly.
Then, as Ed began to flip out on him, she sighed again and placed her hand on her shoulder, which made her cheeks go red again, right when they were returning to their natural pigment, "Calm down...At least he's here now," she told Edward in a soothing voice.

Alphonse laughed nervously as he listened to Edwards complaints, steping a little away. “Sorry Brother.” He said, rubbing the back of his head innocently. “I just got a little…side-tracked.” At least he wasn’t telling a total lie. “Hi Winry.” He said, full of gratitude for her help. “I was-” He began reciting his excuse, before he noticed both the looks their faces.
“D-did I interrupt something?” He asked, worriedly. Now that he thought about it, his brother had practically jumped down his throat for being late. Not surprising, but a little over-done for such a small crime. Then there was Winry, who clearly wasn’t looking at all like her usual bright and cheerful self, but somewhat nervous herself and wore a light flush on her face.

Winry sighed as Ed's yelling caused Alphonse to step away, "Don't mind him, Alphonse-kun, come on in," she told him, gesturing to him to come further into the room with a genuine, reassuring smile on her face now. Hearing his excuse, she flashed him a knowing smile, a sly expression on her face that all but whispered 'oh really?'. "Soo...What was it that you were doing, then?" she inquired, holding back her snickering with success.
Then, as Alphonse asked if he had interrupted something with a nervous tone, she felt her face heat up even more. Looking away from him as he gazed at her and Edward, she pretended to be interested in a wire in Ed's right arm, "N-no...Well...S-sorta," she admitted, looking back up to him.

"Your telling me to calm down,I forgot I even lost track of this clanking hunk of metal....no offense Al,but you know I worry about you right,uh interuppting anything nah we we're just talking about....things".
Ed turned his face away,he was starting to blush again geez at least he never did this in front of Mustang,wait there was that one time he did blush because of something he said.Edward shook his head and turned back,at least he knew Al was safe.
"Hey Al have you heard anything from central,a message or anything....".

Alphonse nodded, moving closer towards the two. Pretending as though he hadn’t heard Winry’s question, he moved on to answer Edwards. Glad for the change in subject, Alphonse shook his head. “I haven’t heard anything from Central.” After pausing for a moment of thought, he asked. “Why? Did you do something illegal again?” He asked, with an annoyed sigh. He only left him alone for a few hours...

"HEY WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN,are you still picking on me because I changed those rocks into gold when I wasn't suppose to,and besides I was just asking because you know how Mustang get's if we disapper.I always have to hear a lecture from him,'Edward are you going on a crazy goose chase again,we can't keep forking money out for your silly escapades hey where did you go,oh there you are down there',so you see what I mean Al".

Hearing Ed state that he hadn't interrupted something, she turned away from him, furious, "Oh, so it was nothing, huh?!" she inquired, her tone sharp and cold, though the effect was ruined by the wavering of her voice. The tears were coming...
Then, as Alphonse inquired Ed on if he had done something illegal again, she turned back to him, glaring, "Again?! There was a first time?!" she demanded, though her anger was out of worry now. As Ed ranted on about Colonel Mustang, she shook her head, "He's not that bad! God forbid somebody tries to help you!" she exclaimed. Oh yes, Ed's comment had definately put her in a bad mood.

"Winry I didn't mean.....that is,sheesh I can't say anything without making you upset can I,i'm sorry Winry it's just that I wanted to know if Mustang was looking for me,he get's pretty stingy when Al and I disapper for quite awhile so come on don't be upset".
Edward couldn't say anything right,maybe he should just keep his mouth shut but now he had upset Winry,and that usually meant a wrench coming right to his face,but this conversation they had did mean something to him.
"Winry....i'm sorry".

Burying her face in her hands, she looked away from the two as she tried to hide the tears streaking down her cheeks, "That's not what I'm upset about!" she yelled, which was truthful...She was more or less furious about the mention of lawbreaking. "It's hard to tell you something important like I'm trying to right now when the person I'm speaking to doesn't take me seriously," she stated in a cold, resentful tone as she stifled the sobs that shook her body.
Hearing him simply state that he was sorry once more, her head lowered, "You don't even get it...Can't you see that I love you, you idiot?" she inquired. Once she had realized she had said this thought aloud, she gasped and clasped her hands over her mouth, revealing bloodshot eyes and red, tear-stained cheeks.

Alphonse made a move to go forward and comfort Winry when she began to cry, however froze mid-step when he heard her words. He looked back at Edward, unsure of what to say or do. The growing silence of the small room made the seconds pass slowly. He looked back towards Winry, his hands still raised slightly from the futile attempt to cheer her. He now deeply loathed himself for interrupting them before.
It wasn’t as though he hadn’t seen this coming, but it was only uncomfortable to be in the position in-between the two, unsure of how Edward would react.

Edward's jaw dropped,he shook his head did he hear what he thought he just heard,Winry had just confessed her feelings for him and he had no idea how to react,I mean how was he suppose to react to something like that it just took him completely off guard,but he had to say something.
"Winry....I....uh,what you just said.....uh Al can you give us a momment maybe,um did you just say you loved him geez Winry you took the words from my mouth,even though I could never admit that to you.....i've always cared about you and the work you put into your automail,I love you too there it's done I said it as well".

Eyeing Edward nervously as his mouth fell open and he nervously shook his head. His expression basically screamed that he was shocked, and she knew that was inevitable. What gnawed away at her was that he was taking his dear sweet time to give a verbal response.
Then, it came. A jumbled tangle of words streamed out of his mouth so fast she had to think it over for a moment to make sense of what he had said. He had spoken of never having enough courage to tell her what she had just told him, and that he indeed loved her too. Freezing up for a moment, she felt her heart race and blood rush to her cheeks, warming them up and creating a red pigment or in other words a blush. "Thank you..." was all she could get out, going into a bit of shock.

Alphonse turned his head, deeply embarassed by the situation, and obidiently left the room as Edward wanted and entered the kitchen. Now alone in the quiet kitchen he looked around the room, still slightly uncomfortable. it wasn't until a mew from inside his armor did he realize why he chose the kitchen to go to.
He found a bottle of milk stilling on the counter and poured a bit of the white substance into a bowl, feeling guilty for touching things that weren't his. He quickly pulled out the small kitten from inside his armor and placed it on the table, near the bowl of milk for it to drink.
