As days passes, I noticed that there aren't many posts as we used to, players are beginning to disappear without a trace and etc. That's the impending doom to the Death of many RPG sites. I think we should clean up some dead accounts (Few weeks old, maybe?) and we should try to advertise on other FMA RPG sites and such and maybe even on deviantart.
Any other suggestions?

Suggestion One: Check For Un-Accepted Characters on the Joining BoardSometimes people reply to post so it looks like their characters have been accepted, but they really havn't. Also, some in-active accounts may just be due to the fact that people's characters havn't been accepted so they can't RP.
Suggestion Two: Advertise The #1 most suggested way to get a forum back and active is to advertise. I, myself, have a failing FMA RPG and would be glad to affiliate here. My site's name is Flame vs Full Metal.
Suggestion Three: Elect an Advertising Team In my years in the vast universe of ProBoards, I have seen many people try this out: It's usually very sucessful! We could try having an admin elect a number of people (5 or more) to be part of an advertising team that would help spread the site's name.
Hope these help!

I have a few, but they are kind of weak because Rally covered all the good stuff in his post...
*If possible you should add more boards, with more options maybe people will post more.
*Setting up subplots might get the board going, if people have a scenario to post under it might convince them into posting more
*Make people post in absence thread or something if they are going away so that their accounts aren't deleted

I agree whole-heartily on cleaning up dead accounts. If they're older than three weeks on posting then delete them. And advertising on devianart is a GREAT idea. That's how I ran into the other RPG forum I'm on. I was browsing through people's ads on devian and found that. It was really be accident ^_^" but then I saw you guys too. So advertising on devianart would help us out greatly.
I like the idea of the add team. *raises hand* I volunteer to join! X3

I like the more boards idea, just make it more open, i don't know what it was but I remember the very first board of yours was your inuyasha board, and it had been around a long time before i fell, idk, maybe it was more open or something

I like the idea of deleting the older accounts, usually around a month old without being used. I'll join the advertiseing team! XD Also, check and see if every character taken has at least one thread to post in right now. Some people may be inactive because they have nothing to do yet. A small suggestion just to handle this is to create a new thread for everyone to post when they will be leaving, or on hiatus and for how long. It is easier to follow who is where then. Hope it helps.
