Name: Yume Takoso
Age: 15
Hair:
Black- occasionally fitted into a skinny pony tail in the back. Her hair reaches down to her lower back. Her bangs fit around and over her forehead, long strands of hair reaching down past the ears.
Eyes:
A light brown color- which is often mistaken for gold. In a dimmed room, they look almost gold like. Her eyes are normal sized; not big, yet not small.
Personality:
She has a slight attitude and believes only that her opinion is right unless proven very well otherwise. She finds herself worrying about little things, and occasionally other people’s problems. If they stray a certain path that she knows that they might regret it later on, she will most likely either help or stay away by watching from a distance. She only believes equivalency living in alchemy; and not human lives. Alchemy is not her life, and she doesn’t revolve everything around it. It’s only a side thing.
She has a ‘spaced-out’ side to her, where she usually doesn’t think clear and in basically just day dreaming. There is a big serious side to her, and when she’s tired her serious side is basically demolished and she acts different. Mainly, happier, out going, and just holding a blank face. She has that side to her at other random times as well, outside the military most often however. And for a cliché as a girl- she really likes cats, even though she doesn’t usually like to show it. But she hates dogs, just for certain reasons.
Yet she usually tries to ignore herself wanted to voice her opinion, and sometimes ends up acting nice towards a person. She gets into a lot of things without thinking of the consequences often. But she doesn’t mind getting into trouble and disobeying laws; except is more weary and serious with alchemic ones. She likes to figure things out, and is curious with a lot of things. She wants to know more and more.
Description:
Since she is usually outside the military, she has no use for a uniform. But she doesn’t mind wearing one. She sometimes does wear it in the military, as she was advised to do. But her usual attire is a tight black shirt, with a small turtle neck. A small long-sleeved dark blue jacket occasionally fits on top, which ascends down to just slightly above her lower back. She wears long black pants that aren’t too tight and comfortable enough. She wears a ring with an alchemy circle on it for faster alchemy. There is an alchemic circle on her back, and another one below her color bone near her chest. They look as if they were scorched on her body, by alchemy.
History:
The last thing Yume can remember is being in the cold snow at a young age around 7, pages from an alchemy book and notes scattered around her. Then she blacked out, awoke yet again in a hospital in Amestris, Central; a bit far away than where she was found. The pages and notes were not hers, as anyone would expect, and the girl had not figured out why she was there. There were no written records of her, and when they did a blood test, there was a family that it related to. But when they went to search down the parents, they had disappeared, with not a single trace at all of them.In three days, she had more ‘consciousness’ and would talk more, but in a darker, quiet tone. But instead of being a cliché orphan, she right away ended up living with a family. At least, until she was contacted with someone she was related to.
The family she was with, just a husband and wife, who the husband worked in the military. She didn't know what was happening all the time and she felt like she was in a new world, like she didn't even belong there, or anywhere near. He was just a simple officer, who didn’t have any alchemic skills, but just worked with papers. Yume had the notes and alchemy pages with her all the time, which she tried to read and study. She barely understood them, and tried to look up books that fit them but barely could. She decided to forget it all; to forget everything, all the weird happenings of her being there. It felt odd, like she just woke up from a long sleep. But as she grew, and began to understand some of it, she wanted to know everything about it. She taught herself whatever she could, even things that didn’t involve alchemy, for alchemy wasn’t everything to her. The man told her about the State Alchemist exam, and she was interested. For that time, alchemy was a main part of her life, but later it grew on her and she wanted to know about other things instead. She had planned to enter the military when she was a lot older, but couldn’t wait and tried when she was fourteen. She also wanted to be able to pay for herself with the money, so she didn’t have to depend on others.
She went through the exams with confidence, but had the thought that she probably wouldn’t get to enter after all, after she had heard a lot of the officers talking about it under their breaths. So, she didn’t expect to make it, and that’s why she was especially surprised when she made it. She was later informed it was because of the way she used her alchemy; which was rare to them. She became entitled the ‘Time Alchemist’ because of her timing with the phases of alchemy. And around the military, she noticed quickly that she was referred to simply just ‘Time.’ She soon became use to it, and didn’t really mind it. A few days she worked for the military, she regretted being a State Alchemist. She didn’t realize a lot of what they had to go through, and that it all wasn’t just ‘Gain information.’ But since she couldn’t go back, she continued this worked as a ‘dog of the military.’ She continues to work in the military, having to follow their orders and such.
She wants to find things out, and anything that sounds odd and different, she will investigate it. She wants to figure out the wonders of the world, and the military is a small benefit from that. Even her past comes as a big curiosity that she strives to figure out.
Alchemy:
Instead of going completely through with a transmutation and going through all the phases of alchemy; she just goes through the first, breaking down. So, when given an object and using her alchemy with just the first step; it would just break it down to its simplest structure. Like the main materials, it would separate them to the simple building blocks the material came from.
