Laughing as he mentioned the bone-shattering embraces recieved from Armstrong, she gave a knowing nod, "I don't think anyone could ever give a hug as deadly as his..." she joked. Then, as he mentioned that he enjoyed the kissing, she blushed even more, but nodded, "Me too...Y-you're good," she added. At the mention of naming the kitten, she shook her head, "Let's let Alphonse do that..." she told him.
Then, as Ed shifted the kitten into his arms, she laughed he jumped onto her, his claws piercing through her shirt, then digging into her skin. Wincing, she pulled him off and cradled him in her arms instead.

"He's kinda cute for a kitten,I hope Al didn't get lost on the way to the pet store.Your right about the way he gives hugs,I just try to run away from him so he won't crush me to death".
Edward then heard her comment, giving a grin he turned so Winry couldn't see it,wow he was a good kisser who would have thought then turned back towards her,the sly grin gone....but he really did love Winry she was everything to him and also Al meant alot too.
"Thanks for the compliment, guess you can tell I haven't kissed a girl before and your kinda the first one Winry,I was afraid I would mess up".
((gotta run ttyl or I might be back later on))

Laughing, she nodded, "He's adorable," she added, massaging the kitten's back with her finger. Nodding once more at his next comment, she grinned, "He nearly broke my ribs last time I got a hug from him..." she told him, chuckling weakly.
Catching his grin, she laughed once more and pinched his cheek. There it was: that cocky bastard attitude that drove her insane and turned her on at the same time. Yet, it left as quickly as it came..."Hehe, you did fine...Though I doubt I was any good; you were my first, too..." she admitted.

"So I was your first kiss huh,and here I was worrying all this time that you had kissed another guy Winry, but hey you did well....oh here I forgot I picked something up before I came here,I don't know if you want it Winry".
Edward reached into his pocket, bringing out a small locket he held it out so she could either take it or refuse it,he thought she might like a gift other then tools or mechanic stuff,he gave a slight smile.

Laughing gently as he told her he was afraid he wasn't her first, she let go of his cheek and slid it to the back of his neck, "Who else would I be kissing?" she asked with a confused look on her face. Then she caught his comment about her being good. Feeling her cheeks heat up, she averted her gaze, "Th-thank you..." she mumbled.
Hearing his last statement, she then put her gaze back on him. He was dangling out a silver locket for her. Blusing even harder, she smiled softly at him and took carefully tugged the locket away from him, "E-Edward....You d-di-didn't have to do that...." she stated modestly.

"Can't I spoil the girl I care about most, believe me Winry you deserve it and so much more I added the picture in there too,it was when you we're in Central visiting remember we took a group photo together outside the office".
Edward flushed a light pink,he had given Winry tools and trinkets to work with for automail, but a locket was a special thing.....it showed you cared for a person deeply. The blonde haired boy looked towards the window,Al was sure taking a long time he was starting to get worried.
"You think I should go find Alphonse,he's been taking a long time to get back Winry".

Blushing as Ed stated that he wanted to spoil her, and that she deserved much more, she smiled but shook her head, "N-no...I don't deserve all of this..." she murmured in protest. Then, as he informed her that there was a picture inside, she carefully opened the locket and looked down at the two of them grinning broadly into the camera, with Alphonse looming over them. He may have been just a suit of armor, but you could tell that he was happy in that picture. "Oh Ed..." she whispered, a smile on her face, "thank you so much!" she exclaimed, pulling him into another embrace.
After a few minutes of holding onto him, Winry let go and tried to clasp the necklace around her neck, "Darn, I can't get it..." she muttered aloud. "Can you help me?" she requested.

Walking behind her he took the chain, gently Ed clasped the locked around her neck making sure he didn't pinch her delicate skin, after it was on he walked back in front of her and admired the locked around her neck for a automail mechanic it really shined.
"There hope it's comfortable,I don't want it to be too high on your neck but it looks just fine to me,now should I go and find Alphonse I just want to make sure my brother didn't get lost,or turned into scrap metal".

Winry gasped lightly as she felt Edward's fingers brush across the nape of her neck as he clasped the locket around her neck securely. Watching him as he walked back to face her, admiring the silver trinket dangling from her throat, she couldn't help but blush with his amber gaze on her.
At his statement, she shook her head, "Don't worry, it's perfect," she replied with a smile. Then, when he informed her that he had to go find Alphonse, he nodded, "Yeah, you better...I'll make a map for you, too," she told him, drawing up another set of directions on a scrap of paper and handed it to him.

Alphonse walked through the busy, scorching streets of Rush Valley, his arms carrying a bag of simple cat toys and other necessary supplies needed to care for a kitten gleefully. He’d gone, straight-away, to the pet store, using Winry’s map as a guide. As he began to make his way back, through the winding streets, he remembered the milk he’d given the kitten; without permission. Won over by guilt, he stopped in his tracks and surveyed the streets for a simple food market.
He raised his spare hand, blocking the sun from causing a glare. “I wonder where they might keep a food shop?” He thought aloud, looking up and down the street several times without luck. It /was/ Rush Valley, the ‘Boom Town of the Broken Down’: automail shops lined the streets of a swarm of people. “Where do they buy their food?” He wondered, now rubbing the back of his helmet head.
As he’d made his way towards the pet shop, he hadn’t noticed any markets. He gave a moan of disappointment. Al would have to wander off the streets Winry had drawn on the paper. Her drawing showed him how to reach the pet store, nothing more. He didn’t feel right, going up to a random person either, to ask for directions. The combination of the heat and crowds seemed to have people at the end of their ropes, judging by the looks on their faces. Already timid about being somewhere new, he was too shy to confront the rough-looking citizens about directions.
Lowering his hand, he looked down at the hand-drawn map and made his way towards a street intercepting the one he was currently standing in, taking not of it’s name. He decided to not stray far from the streets of the original map; not wanting to risk getting lost.

Sighing after glancing at the map, she figured if Al was taking this long, he'd probably gone farther than the map showed. Handing the kitten back to Ed, she sighed, "I better go find him myself; I know this place a lot better than you do," she told him, shredding the map and tossing it in the waste basket before walking out of the shop; her only shelter from the sweltering Rush Valley heat. Fanning herself as she walked down the sidewalk, she reached the pet store in no time. After asking an employee if Al had been seen there, she was told that he had left and went down a nearby street. Dashing into the sidestreet, she spotted Al standing in the middle of it, looking rather confused. "Alphonse!" she called out.

Alphonse stopped, mid-step, hearing his own name being called. He looked over his shoulder and saw a sweaty and panting Winry running after him. “Winry!” He called joyously, waving his free arm. He turned around fully to face her, shifting the weight of the bag, making it slightly easier to hold. “I’m sorry…” He began, looking at the ground with guilt. “I wanted to replace the milk that I gave to the kitten…but I couldn’t find a store…” His voice trailed away softy as he stared at the ground. After a moment he risked a timid look back up at her, fearful if she would be angry at him for taking a long time. “I should have told you- I’m sorry…” He said quickly. Edward, for sure would’ve gotten mad if he wandered or took more time than needed to do a task.

Waving back at him as he turned around, she grinned at him, heaving a sigh of relief as she did so, "Thank goodness I found you!" she exclaimed, taking the bag of cat supplies from Al, having noticed that he was having trouble with it. At his apology, she shrugged, "It's not a big deal, we were just a bit worried, was all," she replied, reassuringly patting his shoulder, even though he couldn't feel it. As he looked at her timidly, she shook her head, "Really Al, don't worry, it's fine," she replied. "I'll take you to the grocery market, though," she offered.

"Okay." Alphonse replied nodding, though he still felt guilty. "Y-you don't have to carry that." He added, motioning towards the bag. "It looks pretty hot here- I can carry it." He offered, not wanting Winry to over exert herself. The last thing he wanted was for a dear friend of his to get hurt, then rush around an unfamiliar place trying to find a hospital.

Smiling, she nodded, "Follow me," she told him as she took another turn at one of the main streets, which lead to a plaza. Then, as he motioned to the bag and offered to carry it, she shook her head, "I'm fine, don't worry," she told him softly. She wasn't about to admit that she was indeed feeling light-headed. She didn't want to worry Alphonse. Dragging the bag along with her, she wiped the sweat off of her brow with her other hand, wishing she hadn't chosen to wear such heavy coveralls that day. Even though she had tied the top of them around her waist, they still smothered her.
